Just put my Injen on about a week ago and I love it. Just got the short ram on for now, but can definitely tell the difference in acceleration and top end. It does make the car louder but it sounds good (I will try to get a recording of how it sounds soon). Also noticed a little increase in gas mileage.

I have the Cold air extension on, I am thinking of switching back to short ram. It is however a great thing to have. If you get it you will NOT be disappointed!

cold air extension adds a little more hp by pulling in colder air from the fender instead of under the hood.

are there any heat shields available for the injen short ram intake? i've got the sri installed right now, i'm just a little skeptical and a little more lazy, so i haven't gotten the cai on. don't really know if it'll be worth it to put it on now or just wait for them to put out some kind of heat shield.

I did the same thing, I had the SRI set up for about three weeks before I converted to CAI. I will be switching back to the SRI very soon as it actually feels like the CAI produces less power. I dont think you would have to worry about a heat sheild. I had one on my old Z-24, I ran it both with and without the heat sheild and noticed NO differance.
