nice, I'm terrified of setting my timing
already done it once but...you trust the zip ties?
also when adjusting mine I didn't see any tick marks for TDC on the crank...is yours the same?

the tool is a good idea if your doing it by yourself. but i did have someone hold the gear so that when i pulled out the cam, the gear didn't drop into the timing cover

I hear yea!! I don't rev that high cause the lobe on the cam operates 2800-6800 so i redline at 6900. but vince wants me to dyno it so that he can see where my base power starts and stops .

thanks for the compliment for creativity but considering that my grandfather owns a engine shop i don't think replacing the cylinder sleeves would be a problem lol. but c- clamps would be interesting
well you can diffidently feel the engine moving when the cams turn and having the mounts myself is pretty shaky with the air conditioning on
oh and you think zip ties is being creative ask Matt the one who had installed the cams first, what the dealer used to do his cam install. For a company that warranties work you think that they would use proper tools lol. i stole the dealers idea!

Matt and I are going to get videos together on comparisons. cause matt and myself have all the same modds. Except that i have a custom exhaust, with "soon to be "clear images downpipe and 4-1 header and he has megan racing, w/ZZP header and downpipe.
But i should have vids soon.

JASON AND I ARE OFFICIALLY STAGE 2 CAMMED!!!! All you guys "better learn that."!!!
Hey zip ties are a good idea especially after seeing a mechanic at a GM dealership do it. What else more could you want besides holding the chain against the cam gears?
