Yeah sounds VERY interesting, we would like to see the differnce also. From what we have saw on the ecotec cavalier (same engine)

About 8-10 on the TTR stage 1 and 10-12 (maybe up to 14) on the TTR stage 2

I would pop in the stage 3's but my main concern is if I did go supercharger down the road, would I be wasting money if they won't properly work well with each other,or hold of completely until I get the supercharger and get the cams. That would be a hard decision to make honestly.

I wouldn't mind the spray but people said by the time you keep on refilling it you could of bought a supercharger or turbo.I think its a preference though on what people want with their cars

the blower is going to require a different setup in valve timing which is why the blower cams have different lift durations. the NA cams require a certain amount of scavenging to fill the cylinder and cool it at the same time. the overlap in the cam profiles used on NA cams isn't neccesary for a system that forces the air in. you can use the stage 3 cams but you will need the cam gears to adjust the valves overlap timing.

edit: that's why i'm running two bottles, yeah baby.

well I am going to build up the motor either way,I rather play it safe then sorry with a turbo or a supercharger.Just wasn't 100% sure if the stage 3 ones would work well with the supercharger.

I wasn't 100% sure which cams to use exactly, but spankey's monkey said I can use the adjustable timing gear with the stage 3,but if the blower cams will work fine with the supercharger then I don't mind running the blower cams then.

more lift on the stage 3 cams and with proper tuning and setup it'll produce just that much more power when coupled with the blower. although the stage 3 will lose on bottom end compared to the blower cam the top-ends gonna wind-out strong on a high revving build.

do ANY of you understand what an n/a cam, vs a blower cam, vs a turbo cam will do on the outcome? or are you just pulling things out of your ass

Nope, but let them learn the hard way, $1000+ down the line, than they will learn. I don't know much either, but I plan doing more research before I even think about pulling internals.

not you i was talking to copson....sorry dude.
http://compcams.com/Cam_Specs/Browse.aspx

the cams with the 113200 part number are stage 1, 113300 part number are stage 2, 113400 are stage 3 (N/A builds these are most common for) 113150 part number are turbo grind and 113250 part number are a blower grind... the boost cams are not considered stage 1 or 2 or anything, just turbo n blower. the other part numbers have stage 1-3. so therefor spanky is right, you have stage 1 cams!

i have no idea. thats just what the mechanic said at the dealer. i mean everything was in right and turned fine by hand. when i went to start it just cranked n cranked and then backfire and high pitch ping noise. then pulled cover off to see all the rockers laying next to head studs and a snapped lifter

and that got me pissed so i pulled the head and just got all new **** and built the valvetrain n forged pistons/rods all at once.
