intake and exhaust mileage

It's probably a dumb question but, with an intake and exhaust can I expect any kind increase in gas mileage?

I haven't done it yet, but I would expect a decrease because I would be driving faster and more often probably.

As usually the case.. you will drive faster so NO! No gain is milage.... But in theory they should increase gas milage... just because it is making the car more efficient.... THey all say the increase milage... I think that someone should do a TEST on this!

yes and no, if you controlled your driving habits then yes you would get better miles but since most people get exited and go faster with the extra power they feel like they are filling up more but even when i reset my ecu after installing an intake it put around 10 more miles on my fuel mile metter on the dic screen

If you want an injen intake for the 2.2, polished or black we have them in stock. We offer a very nice discount code on them, and as always free shipping on injen products.

We also have the DC Sports and magnaflow exhaust in stock for the 2.2L

Most of your gains will be seen on the highway while cruising. Spirited driving of course uses more fuel.

My Monte still managed 29 mpg on the highway w/ 113k on the clock.

The discount is for $36.01 off the internet price. Use the discount code "INJENDISC1" at the checkout and press the recalculate icon. We have, as already stated, black and polished in stock. We always offer free shipping also.

Injen does not throw CEL and it is convertable to a short ram and a cold air intake, so if you live somewhere there is snow in the winter you just convert it to a short rams, and keep the sound and performance!

Black is awesome finish. Customers have posted pictures on this forum and really like the looks of them.

yeah if you can manage to put them on and drive the same way youll see increases but most of the time when you do that you mess with it for a while so no gains in the beggining
