the intake has to stay. i cant return it. (not the senders rules, its my rules). so its stayin. i was thinkin autozone, especially since my friend made his one CAI with autozone piping. just get enough straights to get over there and then a 90. anyone know whats under the plastic??? would autozone piping work?

autozone piping will work, but it will heat up quiker, i kjow, i had a custom one made by that piping, it was cool and all, but after ab it of criving i could pop the hood and touch it and it'd be really hot, not w/my GMPP i drive around for a while, i pop the hood, and the most it'll be is warm...its the quality of the piping, but i mean, yeah it'll work

well when I was stock,, the car shifted form 2 to 3 about 70mph (I have an auto), now with the delete, kn drop in, and the custome intake,, it shifts about 74mph... so yeah,, I think it helped.. also the dyno seat, says it has better throttle response, and great sound btw, but no real dyno yet...

all you need is a 90 degree bend and a 6" straight pipe, thats it, those 2 pieces should work, umm, i remmeber right, pep boys carries the pieces sepretely...autozone only has the whole 40 thing, atleast here in austin they only have the whole thing, they dont sell the individual pieces
