Ion exhaust fit Cobalt?

just wondering if an exhaust (aftermarket, not sure what brand) from a 2.2l ion will fit on a 2.2l cobalt? thanks.

the ion exhaust are a littlle longer and the rear hanger as 1 hanger instead of 2 .. but yes they will bolt up and fit

yeah just need to cut off and relocate one hanger, it does stick out a tad far on a cobalt, but you can have em cut 1-2 inches off btwn the tip and mufler and all is good

elecblue06, didnt you have to have the flange cut off and reinstalled upside down for your tsudo to fit on the Ion? I think I remember someone in the tsudo catback thread talking about that.

Exactly, the "ION" exhaust have a longer extenstion after the muffler, before the tip.

yes but that was because it was made for a 03-04 instead of an 05-07 .. the 03-04 s had a 3 bolt flange.. then GM got gay and started using a 2 bolt exhaust setup
