Jason_42003's turbo build
Alright I know this has already been done but I jus kinda wanted to document this for future builders and not to mention my own help when I run into snags. So after about 6 months of hording parts and a year siesta in warm friendly Iraq I'm finally ready to begin turbocharging my car. well I'll keep you guys updated and hopefully I can get pictures to work at a later date to help.

Alright Ive got some 43 lbs injectors I got off of someone on here awhile back, with the log style manifold. garrett t3/t4 turbo .63, .70 AR trim. Universal charge piping with a smaller off brand intercooler. a 8-12 lbs adjustable wastegate and an apexi BOV. Mazda 6 V-band 3" downpipe. And then an apexi digital boost controller and apexi turbo timer, and some universal oil lines. O and top it all off wit a tune from Vince over at Trifecta.

We'll c wut kind of fun this project holds for me tomorrow. and again sorry no pics, o and does anybody know wut kinda studs I need to the greddy t3/t4 turbo with the 4 bolt exhaust pattern. I got it mounted to the manifold but i have no bolts to mount the downpipe to the turbo.

I've got an automatic unfortunately. but other than adding a shift + to it im not touching the trans or cv's for now. the transmission is technically built for a v6 engine so it can handle the 250 horse that ill be pushing. So up till I up the boost there isnt a need for me to build up the tranny.

o yeah and the exhaust studs for the greddy t3/t4 turbo wit the square 4 bolt pattern exhaust side r metric. If I remember right they're m8x1.25 for future reference. Hopefully that helps someone.

ok got into the shop today, and finished the build ( sorry no pics, I was wrking wit 4 hrs) then tuned the vehicle n went to start it to test it all... and no go. Thing starts for half a second then dies immediately, none of the lights (security, check engine, etc) come on, car jus dies. Repinned the injectors for the new 42# injectors also today. Anybody have any ideas on wut this could be, would check it tom but I gotta go into the field. so i'll have to look friday, but all i can think to check would b spark, the injectors, or look for vaccuum leak somwhere. any other ideas? o n this all made for a nice 5 mile walk back home.... yay
