Yeah sorry bout takin so long to get back to u guys on this I've been caught up in the craziness of all this this weekend. But basically here's the story. Finally got the turbo kit on n running, and I was taking it out to my buddy's place to go hang out for a bit, babying it the whole way, didn't even get to spool the turbo ( if I'd have known this was how it was gonna end I woulda spooled it up a couple times jus for kicks). Well I stop at walmart to pick up sum drinks n dip. come outside go to start up car, the starter turned over maybe one time then there was a pop n huge flames start coming outta the hood. I jumped out after i popped the hood n my ******* is only thinking omg save the car so I tried reaching into the flames to open the hood like four times before someone dragged me away from my car. Had to watch as it jus burned away, that sucked. but after the fact i come to find out theres a recall on the 06-07 cobalt for their fuel line connector. I guess they somehow develop a crack and once that crack gets to big it starts leaking fuel and once that fuel hits an ignition source it lights up. which is pretty much sounds like exactly what happened because i started it up n the flames were instantaneously huge, and when the fire dept was putting it out it kept reigniting... so yay me, but on another note now I've got plenty of cheap parts for u guys from the seats back haha
