Haven't done much in a while but recently switched over to control my methanol injection PWM signal with the AEM Infinity. This involves using a "lowside switch" output from the AEM which triggers a Hella solid state relay to handle the electrical load of the water/methanol pump.
The water/methanol pump is now grounded and receives positive on/off pulses from the solid state relay which has to be supplied power from another relay that only gives it power when the key is on. If I don't do this my AEM and the relay decide to turn the injection pump full on when I turn the key off. I've also installed a flyback diode which other water/methanol injection controllers include integrated based on what little I could find online.
I currently have the AEM set up generate a 250hz PWM signal and basically have the duty cycle for injection start at 25%. The pump doesn't like lower "voltages" than that. The injection duty cycle is driven from a combination of throttle position and boost pressure. This way if I hammer on it I can have the injection start before boost pressure is even generated.

Whoa, sneak attack from an old member! Unfortunately, I feel like I haven't seen JD post in like 6 months or more.
I put a barb in the MAP sensor hole of my LK9 manifold... I can check and/or try to remember what size mine was. I want to say I needed to thread it with 1/4" NPT... and that the barb was 3/8". But I can double check on that.
