the tip will fit either, it's just old info. what they mean is that it will NOT fit the stock exhaust.

Good to hear because thats what I have waiting to be installed (GMPP Exhaust, XTC Downpipe, and Pacesetter Ceramic Header). Can't wait. I'll let you guys know how it turns out.

Good to hear positive feedback on both the downpipe and header. I was a little unsure as to which header to go with, but I chose Pacesetter. This setup probably won't be installed until either late next week or the following week as I still have to wait for downpipe and header (which I ordered today) to come in, but I'll definatly keep everyone posted.

"Constructed of T-304 stainless steel with free-flowing mandrel bent tubing. Features semi-polished muffler with two distinctive sounds that meet all Federal decibel requirements: Touring (more aggressive than stock) and Performance (much more aggressive than stock). Finish it off with adjustable and interchangeable, fully-polished stainless steel tips with Chevy Bowtie logo (sold separately). This is the only performance exhaust system engineered by GM for your GM vehicle." quoted from goodwrench.com !!!

Don't quote me on this, but I believe that there was a post on here before saying that the GMPP Exhaust was dyno proven to gain 5-8hp.
