I cleared my dtc's yesterday, and im pretty sure I notice a small gain. I dont know if im just loosing it or... something actually changed. I really wish they would have said something in the Installation manual about all this. Does disconnecting the batt really do anything other than making me reprogram my radio stations?

If the only mod you have is the GMPP intake then your performance increase will be very small. The real "bottleneck" is the exhaust. Exhaust should be the first mod done -- go with the GMPP cat-back exhaust (IMO Performance not touring -- but louder) and you will feel more performance.

Anyone else out there notice that their intake got quieter after a week or so? When I compare from the first day I installed it, to present day, Ive noticed that with time not only has the perfomance factor gone up a tad, it sounds smoother, doesnt bog, and the noise level has gone down. Ive also been able to drive today with the windows down for the first time this winter. The sound is totally different and im not one bit ashamed to say it turned me on. To add to that, the first sight of a couple fart cannon cars have hit the street! Man...if only I had an ss/sc... Id sure show em! Well atleast im not the slowest thing on the road anymore.

That was the way it was when I ripped the silencer out of my exhaust. First day I did it I test drove it with a budy of mine and felt immediate improvement, got to a red light and downshifted into first at about 30-35 and immediately poked the bottom of the steeringwheel.
