hey guys. just about to order a K&N intake for my 2.2L and it has the SAI and the only intake that will fit it is the K&N and i want to order it asap but want to make sure they will not void my cars warranty. does anyone have any information about this and if they can or will void the warranty?

The GMPP filters are all dryflow like AEM, so I'd stick with AEM or other dry ones if you are worried.

I understand that part, but is the length and diameter the same as the Injen? Will it fit in the fender right? That injen is a tight fit already, if I got a AEM that was a little bit bigger I could have rubbing issues. If you do not know then know big deal, I will ask someone that already has one.

They cant say anything as long as theres some kind of filter on the end of it. The had to remove my K&N intake to get to my computer. Then they just threw it back on and sent me on my way.

As said ^^^ it all depends on the dealer. I've been to half a dozen now, they all say something different. I REALLY miss Saturn of Joliet in IL. Saturn of Charlotte has the absolute worst service manager imo. IF they see anything that resembles a mod, they wont touch the car "under warranty".

Air five for the 2.4's! *waa-chh*
That sucks for the 2.2's though. Pretty soon they're gonna make it that you're gonna have to take the car to the dealership to put air in the tires. And if you change the air filter, and it's not a valid-GM-code number 328475839284747, it throws a code and your car won't run. At all. **** sucks.
