I hope you plan to recirculate your bov back into the intake. I have seen a couple of other 2.2 turbo build threads and they have their bov's pretty much the same way and then they relize the car is measuring the air from the maf but then releasing that measured air back into the atmosphere so ultimately the car is running off un metered air.

just warning you.

Not going to lie when I was watching your build and I saw that nice werks piping I was like oh no the maf is not in right spot.

Recirculating the bov doesn't mean I still can't hear the swoosh lol.

My Garrett kit was designed for recirculating but I converted her to atmospheric.

how did you convert it to atmospheric? is the MAF inside the charge piping and not the intake?

he was well over 2500$, you could get a ZZP stage 2 kit for the same price. but he wanted to run the stock LNF turbo.

the funny thing is, if you look at my piping closely, before the it enters the ic, there is a spot to put it already built in. Not sure why we've never done it lol

i cut my maf section off the intake and then cut a section out of my charge piping b4 the tb. the piping was same size so I cut exact same length out of both pipes and swapped them and welded it up

then I plugged the hole in the intake that the bov was recirculating back into

so if you put your maf within a foot or so of your TB you can run an atmosphereic bov?

Yep that's how I have been doing it. I actually used my Original intake for my charge piping.

yes. I have mine a little farther away than a foot or so. probablay close to 1.5

bc what happens now is ur car sucks in the air, your bov releases the air, the rest o the air traffles to the maf, the car reads maf, then going into tb, into car.

Your car will then be measuring the correct air.

If you leave ur setup as it is now. you will suck the air in, maf measures it, then ur bov releases that measured air causing ur car to run like ****.

that is as simple as I can make it sound lol
