L61 to LSJ Exhaust Manifold

I just installed an LSJ exhaust manifold on my 06 LS. Here's a comparison picture of the manifold's outlet, if anyone is interested.

Now, on to the LSJ cat-back.

The install was fairly easy, everything bolted up just like the stock manifold. I even reused the stock gaskets.

did you notice any difference with just swapping the exhaust manifold?

Looking into doing this myself and wondered if anyone that has done this noticed any difference in the car. Also can I just get the manifold or do i have to do the dp at the same time. Also does anyone have pics to do a comparison for the L61 vs LSJ downpipes. Thanks

I ve got just the manifold on right now, and theres a very slight noticable bump from about 4k on, plus just a tiny bit more of an agressive sound I think.

i got them on SEE man. look for the post. i did this same thing a whiles back. i'll post pics of mine later

found them

and here is a pic of the stock downpipe verses the SS/SC cobalts downpipe. i threw a code when i put it on. but that might have been the CAT's falt cause the guy i got it from tuned his car with the sensor deleted so he didnt know if it threw a code or not. he did it cause he eventually got an aftermarket one i believe.

Yea, the downpipe on a LSJ is much better IMO. Check out the width...
