l61 vs lap
So after owning an 09ls coupe and 07lt sedan..the sedan is quicker by almost a full car
both auto, both 2.2l
theres more higher end in the LAP (the low end is horrible) but the L61 seems a lot smoother throughout the rpm range with a lot more low end (l61 outlauched the lap easy)
has anyone yet compared these two stock engines on a dyno?
oh and they removed the rev limiter btw, i had a nice long stretch of highway and figured i'd test it just for *****, the 09ls hit 110 fairly easy, backed off after 111 and ill never be that high again - these stock conti's are absolutely the shittiest tires, 10x worse then the stock Hancook's that came on the 07lt
just thought i'd share and see what other people thought

I love the car and the gas mileage, but I couldn't live with the lack of power.

I don't blame you. The warranty won't be void on anything but the engine and trans, lol. It is my daily driver too. But... the wife is a stay at home mom so I can take her Hummer to work if mine is down for a couple of days.

Well, I had a GTO, Cavalier and Envoy.
Lease was up on the GTO and Envoy. The Envoy was the wifes to drive the kids around... something safe... and the GTO was my toy and the Cavalier was my DD.
I bought a Hummer to replace the Envoy (again safe vehicle for the kids). I started my business further away so I needed a more reliable car (Cavalier was dying) so I bought a G5 for the gas mileage. I will buy another toy soon, but this will be my DD.
