I've never done this before. However you should just have to pop the two bolts out on top of the headlight, slide the whole unit out, twist out whichever light socket you want to replace, replace said light, and reverse the process to put things back together.

It doesn't twist very far - maybe 30 - 45 degrees. At that point it should wiggle freely back and fourth if you are in a warm environment. Then you should be able to pull out the bulb and ring straight out (the fit can be a little snug and very stiff in the winter).

Probably shouldnt have torqued it as hard as i did... Got some little piece floating around inside my light now.. Still cant remove the bulb

yep, u broke somethin. i did the same thing, but then again....i can change my bulbs and everything locks down still just fine haha

So you twist the larger black circle with tabs and NOT the oval-ish shaped piece that contains the pins.. Manual could have been more descriptive but then again, I could've not been a *******..
