if your really looking for the loudest exhaust possible, i have a custom 3" exhaust. easy bolt up all you are going to have to do is get a custom flange done for the downpipe. its loud but doesnt sound bad. I'll let it go for 150+shipping

pm me if ur interested!

mine is loud in the video due to the fact i got on it. I will probably add mufflers before fall hits to lower the sound a little. Does get annoying sometimes. Either way I don't recommend the straight pipes the shop I went to tried it to hear what it sounds like and its literally 3-4 times louder than what it currently is, plus its somewhat high pitched, you def need something to lower the sound. A resonator or a muffler something to lower and deepin the sound of the exhaust.

please just get a CA header, XTC catless downpipe, and megan racing 2.5 inch exhaust. it will be loud as **** and you wont sound like ****. plus you will still have the ability to put your stock dowpipe back in for inspection and personally i have a 3 inch catless downpipe with a megan cat back and it gets really annoying sometimes with how loud it is

just because you dont have emissions, doesnt mean you dont have exhaust laws...trust me i know. I dont have emissions where I live and the cops still say "any type of modified exhaust is illegal" and bam, he hands me a 160 dollar ticket.

this may be true in your area but not in mine. i mean dont get me wrong ive gotten pulled over out of my area because of it, but due to the fact i have an inspection sticker plus i dont live in that area im let go. like i said it depends on your area. plus besides if you put on a bolt on that would be considered illegal and i really doubt that 99% of us on the forum are removing our exhaust before going for inspections

pretty much depending on your state. in mine we need a cat. I guess some states you may need a muffler and extra stuff. but over here pick ups have stack pipes and other crazy things so it really depends on your area.

if u want loud, go straight pipe, single exhaust, or just go 3"

well i gotta have some kind of muffler to pass inspection and a DP i could put on and take off for inspection purposes myself. so i was thinkin one of 3 options.

1. glasspack b4 a y pipe
2. single pipe to glasspack
3. 3" with one of the above options...

Mines one of the loudest setups I've heard (CA v1 header, XTC 2.5" cat-less downpipe, ARK N2 cat-back). But I also know that the full 3" Vibrant system is loud, and I've heard that the full 3" CTI system sounds pretty sick too. Basically anything 3" and/or cat-less is gonna be loud. But obviously I didn't wanna do a 3" on my 2.4SS b/c that would be pointless.

sadly a "fart can" would probably sound better than a glasspack..
If you dont have back pressure on a four cylinder then it will sound like a pissed off weed eater.. and if your going to run no cat and just a glasspack then you will have no back pressure..

Something you may want to consider is that you stock resonator that is located behind the Cat converter is straight through and it is very similar to a glasspack expect it would probably be less restrictive and louder..

U gotta understand dude you need some backpressure or you arent just being loud, you're losing power. Naturally aspirated cars rely on a certain amount of backpressure to make power, whereas turbo cars need that freeflowing exhaust to move more amounts of air. Get a megan racing and keep the cat on. It'll be more than loud enough trust me.

He's 16 its hard to explain backpressure on a NA car is what makes it has a lot of its power.

Just do a header back to an A3 Performance Muffler (available at autozone) and lose the silencer the muffler comes with. Its loud and deep. Thats what I have and I have gotten alotta compliments
