LS turbo beating SS
YES! there is hope!!! props to whoevers' car this is, just made my day cuz a lot of ppl are hating because i threw an SS body kit on my car but dont understand that i'm not done, having an Ls beat an SS more then once is nice to see. now dont get me wrong, i'm not trying to start rivals between the groups because we all love our cobalts but for the select few who are hating.. eat this, and for the other that arent/// BEWARE lol i might beat you one day

well all you beware...as im getting a fully built stage 2 head by bates on friday...and im getting my pistons and rods on the 16th......so thats pretty much a fully built engine...capable of 8900rpm.....but i doubt ill push it that high.....but its so cool that i will be able to

As far as the video goes, its cool to see a quick LS, but the SS is still much nicer.
And both are still economy cars.

Don't let this get to your heads. And, try not to start making this a 2.2 vs SS thing.
I've seen many base model cobalts beat SC's, it's nothing new. Turbo's even up the playing field quite nicely.

I would have to see this from a roll to see who is truly faster, theres tons of room for error at the track, could be a case of a experienced driver in the LS Turbo vs a bad driver in the SS/SC. I have seen some Stage 2 balts run 15's and then they switched drivers and hit 13's, so its hard to say from those vids.

that sucks, MAJOR! thats why i might not turbo
seems like more then half who build end up paying thousands to repair what they mess up

just because that douche nozzle blows **** up, doesn't mean you will.
take your time, spend the money on good parts, and do your own work.
that way you can have confidence in the parts, pieces, and installation.
also, do your own tuning, or work closely with some one who will do it.
none of this caned "e-mail" tune BS, none of the HORRID tune-by-phone ****, ect.
