LSJ Block/L61 head in LS

So im def. going forced induction but was wondering while on my 45 minute drive home,Instead of building my L61(2.2)to be able to take boost, could I use a lsj block and lower end with my head, therefore giving me the lower compression and stronger block,rods,ect...ect...Im pretty sure I've heard someone say the L61 head will bolt up to the LSJ block no problem. Now I know what your thinking....'just put the whole LSJ in there'but i have an 07 so I have that pesky little cam sensor on the intake cam so therefore I need to keep my head but would I have to do any major mods to make it work in a LS engine bay????Any feed back is greatly appreciated!

THANKS

bump!

really all your getting are lower compression (but still cast) pistons, forged rods, and .2L less displacement. I would just get a forged rod/piston combo with 9.5:1 or 9.0:1 compression pistons. it would be the same thing, only you get to keep your displacement, and you get stronger pistons too. then depending on how much you want to spend, I'd port the head /w a 3 angle valve job

you're block is fine for boost just swap out for better rods and lower cr pistons and you're golden. the block will handle some serious power before it gives out no need to change it.
