Are these parts identical? Not the d/p's tho right?

im postive the manifold is from the 2.0 (i think it was easier to implement SAI with it, GM usually doesnt give out free performance..), but i think the downpipe is still the same as the 05-06 2.2's

ok. but i mean is it the EXACT same mani...not the mani that was the same until they welded that extra piece of metal just to restrict it (i guess thats the one on the 05-06 2.2's)

try pming fr33k for the part #s on both the 07 2.2 manifold and the 07 lsj manifold. If both the part #s are the same... then they're the same manifold.

they're prob gonna be diff part numbers, the 07 has 2 diff manis. one has sai, the other doesn't but they're the same size etc

the 07 mani without sai is exactly the same as the lsj mani
the 07 mani with sai is exactly the same except it has a tiny hole for the sai tube to be inserted.

either way they're the exactly same measurements. no difference

thanks for cleaing that up shawn.

so i guess if i wanna change my mani and dp the best bet is the zzp midlenght header and dp combo. the only thing im worried about is shifting my power curve out of phase since im ew to this whole short lenght/ mid lenght header stuff

I haven't seen a dyno on it, but yea. It's going to shift your powercurve up higher. I doubt it'll be out of your rev limit though

just compare the two, i have. they're exactly identical. didnt have a camera with me, but had a tape measure, the inlet is the same size, same length, same diameter, etc.

only difference was mine had a hole for the SAI, those without SAI obviously do not have the SAI hole lol

as far as header/dp's go, im not sure, i havent looked at headers since it will be a bitch to swap mine (what was once impossible was made possible by a fellow member who works at a machine shop )

no one makes a header with SAI implementation...so i havent really window shopped for one

but now that i found a local guy who's willing to weld the SAI onto the header, come spring i'll be good to go!!

well it's more than just welding the tube on. if you actually take the header off there's extra space between the runners for air to enter the head. I'd make sure your buddy knows that it involves more than just welding the tube to the manifold.
