M62's 2.2 L61 Build Thread
Welcome To M62's 2.2 L61 Build Thread
It's been awhile of considering which method of forced induction I wanted to use and I finally came up with And am sticking with a Roots type blower (M62).
I thought of some of the pro's and cons and the big deciding factor was the cost and practicality.I aim for somewhere in between 250whp- 300whp with the m62.
For an over All appealing car I need To of course have Body interior and Sound Modifications So this thread is also Going to show The whole works of my progress.

i dont recommend lowered compression for a SC build. typically people use lower compression on turbo builds because its easier to turn up the boost on a turbo than it is with a SC. you can only drop to about a 2.8 before your running the SC out of its efficiency range. if it was me i would stick with wiseco pistons but with stock compression.
