I own a '05 cobalt w/ a 2.2L and a 4 spd auto with O/D. At this time I don't know whether to get a B&M ratchet shifter for the 4 spd auto, or a 2.2/134, 5 spd manual swap from an '04 Cav. I want to keep it a daily driver, but lay down the hp. when I need it. My goal is 250 bhp, which will be no problem at all. Just time and money to reach my goal.

thanks.

Money isn't really an issue with this either. Oh and I will not just buy an SS S/C. I love my baby.
trade your car in for an 05 rsx type S. thats 5 mods away from 200+whp. non FI or NOS>

sky's the limit really, its possible to do something that will give you a couple more hp, like boring out the cylinders, camshafts, higher compression ratio, etc etc.
if i had to guess, if someone really wanted to spend thousands i wouldnt expect to see over 250hp, but it would be a pig on gas and not road legal.

i disagree, im sure gm or chrysler would have figured it out eventually. the design is too damn simple compared to other cars they offer.
in my case, even my cobalt is an import, seeing as i live in Canada.

hondas still suck

I just want to get close to about 200... heck really 180 would be fine with me.. im more into looks but i do want a lil more hp in my ride.. got it for the gas mileage though so anything that can be added on that will not have me crying at the pump is welcome.. ive got and SUV that does that for me now $$ lol
