Please try a search. There are other threads on this topic. You can not swap clusters. They are controlled by the cars ECM, and it will not recognize the different part. And no, you can't change the ECM either.

Halfcent, did you take the white face cluster I had at th CED meet? It was in a box in front of Biohazards car. I have been wondering who got it and if it worked.

If the tach and speedo increments are the same, it should work normally.
However...
Check the price of what you are buying against a Black Cat overlay. You can probably buy a new overlay for less and get exactly what you want. They even do custom lettering.

i still got the steelies in the front, but i have some fat 5's in the back...yeah i know what ur thinking...but they wont come off...we put them on to see how'd they look, and well...now they wont budge when we try to remove them...they tightened them on to tight...we tried kicking, hitting w/ a sludgehammer...nothin...they wont budge...so i painted them gunmetal and spelled cobalt on one of the spokes...had to play it off if they wont come off...and i still have the factory tires...i need new ones bad...but i need to wait for my next check...getting some falken ziex tires from discount tires...they're like 70ish each

but there was the sports package with the white gauges on the 2.2 also, so if you swapped one of those in, your stock milage will still show up since its stored in the bcm and not the clusted
