my 1/8 track times

ok, welll i went to test and tune tonight. definately not as cool as street legal thursday lol....there were just a bunch of dragsters and bikes there. however there was some chic in a stock toyota avalon, 02 or so mustang v6 running 11.0, an 05 civic running 11-12s and his friend in a 95 or so civic running the same, so i beat them all.
here are all my runs(didnt get many because they let all the bikes and dragsters cut in line half the time, so my wait was like 20 minutes each time...pissed me off.

now remember, i'm still new to racing a standard so i gotta get my launches and shifts down before i run better numbers.

first run was against some z28...i didnt choose for him to be next to me lol! launched at 2k rpms
r/t .203
60 2.599
330 7.184
mph 51
1/8 10.842
mph 66.30

my focus usually runs 10.8 at 63 mph..how does that work lol?

then i missed third on my second run..11.136

ok i'll just say all the actual 1/8 times i ran, 10.700, 10.673, 10.918, 10.760

well its for sure i'm faster than my focus...and i'm not done learning.

my second best run, for some reason, had the best 60', launched at 4k rpms:
rt .260
60' 2.410
330 6.999
mph 50.72
1/8 10.700
mph 65.48

my best run of the day, launched at 3k rpms
rt .188
60' 2.467
330 7.010
mph 51.29
1/8 10.673
mph 66.08

you can cut a lower 60ft. drop tire pressure to 27 i cut a 2.3 60ft with those pressures, that'll help a lil...hold on i'll look up what i ran in the 1/8

9.9 @ 69 mph bone stock cobalt LS 5 spd no rear tire. You can do it.

These numbers are from my 2007 Cobalt LS bone stock at Texas Motorplex in Ennis. (1/4 mile track)

07Cobalt-LS - 2.237 60', 15.499 @ 91.39 (2007 Cobalt LS)

Now Chevy's website says the 2007 model LS had a horsepower increase over the 05 and 06. So Im just wondering if my times are consistent with this increase compared to you guys with teh 05 and 06 cobalts.
