to install rods and pistons? if you have 2 hands, a good ratchet set and a torque wrench you can do it 9borrow the ring tool from auto zone). Unless you spun a rod then you'd need to get your crank reground. You should probably spend the 150 bucks it cost to get the rotating assembly balanced before you put it in though.

Leafy this car might go e85 later on but we want to see how much we can make on pump hence why we chose the factory spec compression ratio...for now. I see us doing 300+hp easily, considering this car made 263hp with no meth and a restrictive zzp gen 1 shorty header.
Take into account this is just the bottom end and were just starting to play with the head which will be flowing some signifacant numbers.

and josh it would be you if you ever show up at my house and give us a hand lol but you and david are my two mechanics
actually sent it to gtp. this shop in houston who done tons of work with 4, 6, and 8 cylinder cars.
here is his website GTP, Gallant Technical Performance, The Headmasters, Hemi Performance Specialist

We thought about using him but a local shop mentioned GTP and has great success with him. So they are giving him a shot. He says he can get his flow numbers close to AMM, plus he got them deals on other components for the head. The original plan was for him just to clean the head, and then of course it snowballed.
Steven I'll be around more often, I'm done with the women drama for awhile need a breal from that stupidity.

gl with the build guys! I know there's been headaches here and there with it. I was thinking about porting my head as well, but I think that's more of a want for my budget build than a need. Anywho, I know you guys will have fun with it as soon as it's done.

What is the highest hp mp62 eco at the moment? I'm shooting for north of 300 by the end of the summer, should be do able.
Just looked, its turbo tim at 401 hp. Thats just not fare, pretty sure that was a shop car. I'll have to check. After that its 303 hp, which is a joke and they even used e-85, should be doable on 93.

The fins and inlet dont look exactly right, but no one challenged him in the thread. Almost scares me because my build plan is similar to that (minus the E) and that would be maxing out the bottom end I plan on running (stock 05-06 LE5). I shouldnt make ti though since I wont be spinning to 9500 thats for sure.
you new members these days... (not you specifically leafy, but the mass number of new people posting in the first half of this thread)
sten, keep up the good work. Question though, since you were sleeving the block anyway, why didnt you up the bore size more than .020? could have maybe got up to an 89-90mm bore?

its a joke huh?
no one challenged him because its plainly obvious thats an M62

Well 303 on the mp62 is a bit of a joke as being the highest non-shop number. I mean with a high compression engine and a good flowing head this blower has been proven to be a 350 hp blower, and yes I'm referring to the acura k-motor setup. 11:1 compression, a ported head, and decent-good cams should = 350 hp with this blower in 93.
upside: k series head will never see our torque numbers mod for mod.
Do some research into what you're suggesting is pathetically easy.
