The reason I am not even going turbo is because here in Illinois every 4 banger is turboed but barely supercharged.I have no clue how the other thread was added on seriously.Oh also,if you actually do your research of what you need, you wouldn't of ran into such a problem like that putting a blower on a 2.2

thats because turbo is smarter, more efficient technology. you can generate more hp from a turbo than a supercharger running the same amount of boost.

exactly, also peston did I offend you in anyway?First off I didn't like the fact you are saying "another SC"which is highly ignorant to say to someone who has a set goal.

like said it depends what blower your compairing
also turbos have alot of lag.
it all depends how your car is set up you can make alot of power going to down both roads. i personally am a SC guy. i would never do a turbo kit on my car.

ive been there like 19 times the past 2 days
it all depends on 2 things... and 2 things only
1.) your personal goals for your car
2.) cost

thats a childish statment or a statement from some one who doesnt know much about how engines work.

I think its awesome that more and more 2.2 guys are going towards sc, it will help out alot to hear everybodys stories on how they did, what they ran into, and how it turned out. Good luck with your build and keep us all updated!

ah I agree with you 2006cobalt2.2,I usually find the items for less.Ebay or a junkyard is consider one of the best places to find the parts for any car most of the time.I know people who are very familiar with supercharging a vehicle or had it done own their own.
