I think you should keep your kit and just rebuild your engine with better internals(forged), then your engine would be able to handle the boost.

that well i was actually thinking the same thing. i just picked up a 91 bmw 318is coupe 5 speed that i can use for a daily. i really miss the power the supercharger gave me.

Did you have a boost controller on it? 2.8 pulley pulls in like 17-19 psi and that will def blow your engine if not controlled right. I was about to run 3" pulley and chill at 12-15 for safety.
Nice sale though. I would buy another SC kit if my warrenty wasnt on the car... dont want to put it on and poof, something wrong..
