Need opinions, turbo or s/c

So I've completed all my plans for the car except performance...

I've got SS body kit with TC grills
Retro fitted headlights
Lowered on SS/TC and SSC springs
18" konig wheels
Heated leather interior
Carpc with complete DTS Certified radio.
Viper remote start
Etc,etc

I've always planned on boost but I keep going back and forth. I would love to turbo, but it's cheaper to supercharge. I am forced to purchase automatics as I had a forklift accident and killed my left foot (no feeling in my left foot, have trouble feeling the clutch ) so with that taken into consideration what would you guys do. I really am thinking turbo but I know CSS has opinions

For those that turbo'd any insights to snags in the build? I want to turbo but my friends keep reminding me that the motor is only reliable to 250 and SC is direct bolt on

build the motor and then turbo lol. The zzp kit is pretty easy to install. Just gotta take the oil pan off and get a bung welded on above the drain plug. and take the header off and put the turbo mani on there.

As stated above they are not on the car yet.. Been taking advantage if our overtime in CS. 145 hour pay checks make it easier to mod the car I still can prove it, I'd love to get your opinion in person when it's all on Troy. Most people at work flame the hobby haha. Sorry if I came across up tight. I've worked my butt off for all of it and nobody is going to rain on the parade.

Purchase of front bumper

Purchase of Side Skirts

Purchase of Rear Bumper

Front in Paint

Rear in Paint

New Passenger Fender (Put mine in a chuck hole by Millard West)

Konig Wheels I stated I Have

Retro's and TC Grill (HID box underneath)

Anything else you need me to prove? I got pictures of everything.....

The 250 for the rods was tested when gm added a shot of nitrous, rapid heat and power gains, hence broke/bent rods. There are a few on here that have pushed it to 275+ whp on stock internals.

Power Wise I want to cut off around 300hp. I will just work on building another motor out of the car. I have to put a new transmission in the 2nd week of May (I can post pictures of that too...) because the driver side carrier bearing got beat up and the haft shafts whine. Easier to pull everything and drop a new transmission in.

Im 2.2 on M62 with 2.9 pulley and full bolt ons @ 10 psi.I would be estimated at 250-255 WHP.My buddy dyno'd 240 WHP and I pulled em pretty good.Boost is fun either way you go

8 psi on the turbo should do you just fine.

10psi on an sc and 10psi on a turbo are by no means the same. don't use an sc build as a bench mark if you are building turbo.

I never said they were the same. Not sure if you were directing that at me.I was just giving the op stats of my setup. My buddy dyno'd 260whp in his 2.2 auto turbo at 11 psi. He's now built motor/trans and im wiring his 80's in tomorrow then boost goes up to 24 psi.I would def go turbo over SC but I didnt pay anything for my setup so I cant complain.Plus its still fun
