And the neverending problems continue...
So now that I have my engine fixed and has been about 2 weeks driving the car everything is going fine.
Until now.
Now for some reason after I start my car for the first 10 minutes my acceleration is slower and you can feel the car is having a rough time changing gears. It gives a jerk when switching. Plus when going from 2nd to 3rd gear (rarely) it stays in neutral instead of going into 3rd. I switch it from D to I and then back and it kicks back into gear otherwise I have to slow down enough for it to kick back into 1st gear then accelerate again. But like I said before this is only less than the first 10 minutes of having the car run. So now what am I looking at? Transmission going bad? Low on transmission fluid? Or something even crazier?
Again I'm not really a know it all with cars.

Take it to a transmission shop, its hard to know from over a forum. I believe the manual tells you how to check your transmission fluid (mines a manual). But from what you'd said it most likely is a little short on fliud, once it heats up and expands it can operate normally. Start there, that doesn't work take it to a transmission shop.

Yeah the only way was to go under the engine to check so I took it to a transmission shop and they inspected it for free. They found nothing wrong with it and the fluid was clean but I had them change the fluid cause I don't know when or if I even had it done since I got the thing. It runs a little better but is still having the same issues only now it isn't every time I turn it on. So the issues still are there but now I'm wondering could the computer be acting up? I won't complain as it seems to not be harming anything as of this moment besides being annoying.

So now I'm getting 2 CELs. I'm having the same issues still for the first 5 minutes of driving. I'm getting P0700 and P1818. So clearly something is wrong with my transmission somewhere. So since it is the TCM throwing codes is there an easy way to narrow it down that may be cheap?

sounds like valves going bad. p1818 is a transmission fluid pressure DTC. it can also be set if the final drive ratio is off but in your case it should not be unless you had the trans worked as well.
the p0700 is a general fault code your problem is the p1818 where the tcm sees that the trans is in either the wrong gear or there is a difference in transmission speed as compared to wheel speed. it can also be caused by the trans temp sensor as the valve controllers and temp sensor all reside in the same component.
sounds like that car has seen some serious abuse.
have you had the trans fluid level checked?

if your fluid level is proper then you have an internal issue and will have to crack the unit open. as I stated before the p1818 is related to the trans fluid pressure and the related senors housed in the manual valve position switch. the code you're popping is telling you that you have a serious problem that is only going to get worse.
have you replaced any components in the transmission when you had your engine fixed?

No the transmission wasn't touched until it started messing up last week. Wouldn't it only having issues when I turn it on after sitting for several hours mean something is getting adjusted when it warms up and bypasses the problem? I know this is going to cost but after everything so far I don't have money for more stuff. Could it be related to the water getting in the system and messing up the engine and just now showing up because it finally "snapped" so to speak?
