o2 Sensor won't come out

so i got my virbant header and dp in today, and it is a biatch to take the rear o2 sensor out, i took off one bolt from the header, and decided to take the sensors off first, well that second o2 is not coming out easy, it is putting up a dam good ass fight, its pissing me off...its 2:30am and i am trying to install this **** on my car, night crew any idea how to go at it, i have tried WD40, i tried kicking the rachet, pulling it down, pushing it up, none r budging it, 30 mins of trying later, and im right here...this is not the first time i do a header and dp swap i have done ir 4 times now on my car, but this time i dont have my sensors on it, i have the ones from the last guy i traded header and dp with, i got his, and i believe he had 30,000 miles on his,, and what i have had it for, and it has 32,000, mine were so easy to take off, i anti-siezed the all nicely, and pretty, and now im at this point, im just going to cut that dam thing off...and just splice it in when i get a change, cuz i want this thing on now...

get chuck norris to roundhouse kick the sh*t outta it for u

or take some vice grips, clamp them on tight and find a thick long metal pipe that will sit on the handle and use it as a breaker bar.

When I worked on large gen-sets, I used a product called Kroil on exhaust components. It works 10X better than WD-40. It's not very common though, and at 2:30am it isn't much help anyway. Sometimes I think it is more harmful than helpful using anti-seize, sometimes it gets hard and fouls up the threads.

This is a common problem I ran across many times with older used cars I've owned
As a last resort I once had to use a mini-blow torch and Heated up the O2 Sensor Bung until it was really hot
Then Using a large 12" ajustable wrench and Heavy Mallet I went Psycho on it
The impact of the heavy mallet hitting the wrench made a cracking sound and finally loosed up the O2 sensor
Good Luck

The stuff is called AeroKroil.

We use it here on some of the bad ass valves at work.

Yep, that's the stuff. It works better than anything I have ever used.

We use aerokroil on the jet engines at work. Another good product that works well is called mousemilk.

...you could have just disconnected the o2 sensor from where it plugs in about 8" from where it goes into the pipe

not a opton fo for me, when i had my old header and dp i accidently wrapped the second o2 wire around the steering shaft thing, i d idnt relize this, when i turned the wheel the first time, snap the connecter rip'd off, and since no one sells a o2 pigtail for our cars, i crawld in the back of the car and used male and female connectors to straight wire them, that worked just fine, but ment i coulndt disconnect it no more, so yeah, unpluggin for me wasnt a option...

also i had o beat the coolant line coming out the therm housing with a 1/2 drive rachet b/c that thing was in the way of the header, i see now why the CA one doesnt fit, lol, nothin a good old beating didnt fix, and in the end i moved it over with out breaking or denting, well i left a mark of the wack i gave it, but nothint hat will interfere with flow, so yeah, good mod, feels great

mine was a bitch to get out and actually stripped the threads off the o2 sensor the first time i removed it(40k down the road) i finally got it out using a vice, vice grips, and a breaker bar like someone suggested earlier. i had to replace the o2 sensor but it got the job done.

i unplugged them from the harness and pulled my stock setup out so i could have more room to work on them, I sprayed the crap out of them with bolt out stuff, then I waited about 20 minutes, came back and used a wrench and gave it a huge pull and it broke the seal then they just twisted out,

Use PB Blaster... WD-40 is ****.

Oh, and my O2 Sensor was cross-threaded from the factory.
