thanks guys this car is a lot of fun, and turns a lot of heads now, even though it is so quiet on the exhaust side. i'm loving it so far, and the gauge pod is sweet.

yeah, winners circle is about 5 min away from where i work, the only thing wrong with that place is they dont stock any metric parts, i had to order a fitting for my oil pressure gauge and its still not in yet. but thats whrer we get all the parts for my dad's 1967 chevy II. did you want to meet up some place this weekend?

clean ride brotha
I don't like how the piping goes over the valve cover though...they should've routed it around IMO.
is there some type of piggyback unit that came with the kit or how did the reflash work?

its totally worth it, and i did all the install by myself, on floor jacks, with the GF handing me tools, but i have about 5-7 years of hot rod experience, so that helped. you and a few buddies could have it installed in a weekend for sure.

So they Offer a Reflash now? Is there anyway i could purchase that seperate than the kit? i got a turbo and i can custom make piping for it to make it work, i really dont need the full kit anyway to just get the reflash somehow?

I could do that heh, i already have the turbo, intercooler from my old car that i turboed, all i would need is that damn reflash haha and piping(friend can make that).
figured why spent 3k+ when i already have mostly everything needed

yea i did the same you did and couldnt tune w/o piggybacks n didnt wanna go that route. but im selling all my stuff now for financial reasons and you can go to www.sctlivewire.com to get more info on the handheld tuner that comes with that kit and they are like $700 where if you get it with the alpha kit its like $250 (considering you get the injectors (est. $200) and boost gauge (est. $50))
altho as we all know compressor maps on dfferent turbos are different and im not sure what the livewire offers but it may be a preset tune for the 7-8psi on a GT2860RS turbo. so make sure you look into it enough before you decide if itll work or not for ur turbo set up that you have... if you got a bigger turbo and try to run that boost it may lean out, im not sure but just tryin to let u kno to be cautious before u spend $700 to get it if u do and ask them if it allows a custom tune

damn that must suck for you guys. what you do if you build the motor and want to up the boost a lil? wait for them to make another tune or will they send you one if you tell them ur upgrades? does it work with 8.9 pistons or only with the stock 10.0?
