hey im not doggin the cobalt specifically, what i mean is pretty much all cars today are disposable. i mean if you can swing a new car now then in about three years you wont be upsidedown in payments. well that also happens to be about the time cars start falling apart. i know im very hard on any car i drive on a daily basis, not to mention attending at least 9 or 10 autocrosses a year. i change my oil every 2500 miles because i know im pounding on the car harder than the normal commuter does. basically what im saying is most everyone i know trades up about every three years or so, anyway i dont know how to post video i havent searched for the process, ill try to find it later and post a clip with sound for the exhaust.

Looks good. I am jealous. I wish pacesetter had the 2.0 exhaust out already. I am a huge fan of teh pacesetter.

Definitely post sound clips. I bet this will be everybodies favorite sounding exhaust.

Pacesetter is typically not loud, but a "humble rumble" euro style sound

Eh, its all personal preference. I personally dont think the Pacesetter exhaust sounds half bad on an N/A car. Hell when I get the extra money thats probably the exhaust system I'll go with. I mean, hell, right now I have the stock piping and just chopped the muffler and replaced it with an N1 style can. I like it. Most people call it rice, but I dont really care. I like my car and thats all that matters in the end.

You should hear mine with the pacesetter exhaust. After I added header/downpipe it got terrible. It didn't sound too good to begin with. The other day this guy said my car sounded like a lawn mower. It's cheap and you get what you pay for

Hey I like the sound of a lawn mower. Reminds me of summer. And the whole "you get what you pay for" thing isnt entirely true. Ive bought quite a bit of cheaper alternatives that function and perform just as well as their more expensive counter parts. Not trying to say you are entirely wrong, but that cliche is kind of worn out these days.

Besides, like I said, it all boils down to what one person likes. We need to stop worrying about what others like and think is cool and trying to impress and please other people. Just do what you like and who cares what everyone else thinks.

I personally think this one sounds pretty good. Especially for the price point.

I bought a Pacesetter for my Saturn SC2. It rusted out in 12 months! I’d recommend this exhaust if you DON’T drive your car in the snow or rain ever.

Well any stock exhaust will rust. Not everyone wants to pay for mandrel bent stainless. Expecting an exhaust to not rust is like expecting a ***** not to **** on prom night. It's just gonna happen.

As far as the Saturn goes, I should have just replaced the muffler. The stock OEM exhaust had stainless piping and was not rusted through after 15 years. As for my Hahn exhaust on the Cobalt, it’s held up well for 2 years. There is not even surface rust on the muffler or piping.
