Be happy you don't have to spend 700 dollars for a custom ground cam or 3K for ported heads.

Seems like a pretty good deal. A Patriot Stage II head package for an LS1 goes for pretty much exactly double that, and those heads appear to be a bit more complicated and larger than an LSx head, so the price seems fair considering those two facts. Not to mention theres twice the ports and twice the valves to massage. Im sure machining on those takes a bit of time. And we all know Time = money

the 2.0 and 2.2 heads are NOT the same. they have the same overall dimensions but have differnt holes and attachments and passages. i have the two diff heads in my garage rite noe, i been poking around them for a couple weeks. i think that the 2.0 head will work on the 2.2 but not vice versa. dont quote me on that just going by my observations so far.

no, the ports appear to be the same overall size, of course the 2.0 ports are a little smoother. im just taking about random holes and passages throughout the heads. i have no idea what most of them do but they are different. got the head from a wrecked ss. im still trying to sell it if ur interested pm me.

forgot to add, chevy high performance magazine tested the patriot head and cams on their eco project and gained 25 hp and 30ft/lbs of torque. seems like a good investment to me.

25 HP and 30 LBS is definately worth the money if you ask me. Do you have to upgrade anything else in order to run these??
Sorry for the questions, but I have never done internal work, its always been bolt ons.

No prices, but these are the GM performance parts on the Phase 5 cobalts. Somewhere on the site is a twin screw supercharger for the 2.4 in the cavs and sunfires.
