Performance Chip for the 2.2????????

Ok.... This is a ballpark idea but I was thinking of getting a performance chip for my 2.2 if there is one available... I see this one on ebay: <http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/CHEVROLET-COBALT-2005-2007-2006-2005-PERFORMANCE-CHIP_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33597QQihZ019QQite mZ290134241572QQrdZ1> I just wanna get everyone else's input on it because it seems stupid to me because i've never heard of one available. Thanks!!!!!

Those are a scam, they don't actually do anything but cause your engine to burn more fuel.

Your computer is very well tuned from the factory. If you're looking for any type of performance mods start researching into basic bolt-ons from name brand companies.

heres the thing, theres no computer chips in GM cars past 96, 95 was the last year of obd 1 cars in gm (could have been a few stranglers), obd1 computers could be "chipped" 96+ uses obd II computers with everything built into a harddrive with a program to run out cars, there are no chips... so they cannot be chipped, just reflashed...and we cant do that either yet
