Question piggyback question

my friend bought a piggyback one of those unichip things but we dont know how to install it on his cobalt. we've been searching up and down and dont know which wires is which. if it the PB doesnt work we're just gonna solder is and put it back together. anyone know?

yeh on ebay. its by velocity performance. says it works for cobalt, aveo and i think cavalier. any other would need a different type.

sorry bud, but you totally wasted your money, that thing is a rip off. It's not a piggyback system at all. its just a resistor thats telling the engine to run rich all the time.

sell it.

he's right, unfortunately. they do some pretty decent damage to your engine too.

my suggestion is that you tell your friend that he had better get on to these forums and atleast do a search before he buys parts. this is a prime example of some of the bullshit people try to make a quick buck.
