procharger?

I was wondering if anyone has tried the c1 procharger or knows where i could possibly get one....i heard of one cobalt using a c1 procharger but i couldnt find one on ebay or here to learn much about it...

well the balt needs to be notched for the procharger to fit.. not sure if you want to do that or not.. mines sitting in a box in my room rite now waiting for me to come home.. but its going into a ion not a balt.. speedmafia makes the kits

Its a supercharger shaped like a turbocharger.

either way there not that great of a way to make power when compared to traditional turbos.

yes patriot head with valves and springs with comp blower cams only thing im not puttin in is the oil gear and balanced shafts.. i dont see a point not going to rev much over 7k

you should look into the rotrex supercharger. its alot more efficient than your traditional procharger.

i actually was so driven to do this but then i figured its a PITA to get it all routed and it just dosent make enough power to make me happy. maybe it you dident have to cut your upper frame i would like it more.

relax. i never said it wouldn't work or would not make you power.

I just dont think its the best solution. Worst of both a supercharger and turbocharger.

big props on doing something different and cool.


It will be a nice setup, despite my opinion of what could have made more efficient power.

speedmafia was looking into making a bracket for the rotrex s/c i dont know too much about them other than there less pricy but still i got my whole s/c kit for 1500 cant really complain about that it was cheaper than going turbod.. should be interesting tho

oh.. now that is a good idea.

120k rpm Impeller speed, size of an alternator and capable of 20psi boost pressure.

The procharger is just too large for a sport compact engine. Yes it works, but having a smaller footprint like the Rotrex is much easier to deal with.

yep used c-1, custom bracket, boost gauge, wideband, 2 pulleys, 2 belts, bypass valve and some extras basicly a non-IC kit..
