prothane tranny mounts
I just got done installing the prothane tranny mounts. It was easier to do than what I thought since most people were using a vise or presses. I didnt use either just a flathead screwdriver to remove the old mounts and a mallet to install the new ones. I used this how to:

Here are just 2 pics I took. In the how to they have alot of install pics. Here is the front mount.
This is the mallet I used to knock the mounts into place.
The car feels like a totally different car now. No wheel hop at all. Shifts are so smooth. The downside though is the car has a little rattle at idle and rattles alot while taking off from a dead stop. If i rev up to 1500 and take off though i get almost no rattling. They are suppose to break in though and the rattling should not be quite as bad.. guess ill have to wait and see.

Is that from TTR? Looks exactly like the ones I got in the mail this week. Thanks for the post, I needed a how too. Also, is there two mounts because TTR sent me two tranny mounts and one engine mount...whats up with that?

I am glad i didnt do the engine mount, any more solid and the ride would suck.
Forgot to add.. When using the mallet to knock in the urethane mount in I first seated one side then tapped the other. It does not look like it will fit into the mount but use alot of vasoline and keep tappin on it and it just slides right in.

Ive done both prothane mounts, other than what NIVEK said thats it.
Its going to viberate at idle and be a lil rough to start off slowly.
Once your out of fisrt in any other gear you dont even know they're there till you hammer down on it. It doesnt feel like the motor wants to jump out of the car anymore.
However if your cruising at 55 and just press on the go pedal you will notice it. Feels like it does at idle till the revs come past 2700 or so.
