Pulleys, Injectors, and performance, O MY!!!

Wat are pulleys and injectors??
Can i use them with my 2.2L engine or no?!?!?
I am so confused and oblivious when it comes to performance mods!
Thanks for helping me with my "noobness"!

Injectors are how the cylinders get their fuel. What matters is the size injectors you have because a certain size is needed for a particular range of power levels. Guys need to change their injectors when their fuel needs change ie when they get a much smaller pulley. If your injectors are too small, your IDC (Injector Duty Cycle) will be too high and you will be in danger of them going static. (Simply staying open instead of pulsing)

Pick up the "Engine and Driveline" handbook. It's written by the guys from Sport Compact Car magazine. It's an excellent place to start learning about modifying cars. Could be a little over your head depending on how little you know already. Believe it or not, the Haynes ricer looking book about performance is actually very good for learning basic concepts. They care it at most major auto parts stores.

For slightly more advanced stuff, read some of these articles: http://www.honda-tech.com/zerothread/1024174

And most importantly, don't believe everything people on the internet say.

the pulleys and injectors you are referring to are for the 2.0 supercharged engine.
you will want to look into the ALPINE TURBO KIT, for your 2.2L ecotec.
