I used an obx lsd in my 03 neon. It's pretty much the same thing... but make sure you check over it before you put it in. The little chinese kids get it wrong about 50% of the time. Personally I didn't take the chance. I totally dissasembled it and put it back togeather so I knew it was right before I put it in my car.

still holding up 100%. Even though I don't drive the neon much anymore. Sold it to my cousin and he hasn't had any problems with it. Installed it about 3 years ago and made god knows how many track passes with it.
It really is the same exact thing as the quafe. The only difference is it's made by chinese kids instead of being built in the U.S.

Yes, the Quaife LSD differential replaces the stock open differential.
I would recomend you get a shop to do this, you have to install new bearings on the diff and then make sure the diff is shimmed properly...its pretty technical stuff, I wouldn't attempt it unless you have done it before.
I have a Quaife LSD in my F23 (2.2) trans and it works great...exact same LSD thats used in the SS/SC and SS/TC that have the G85 option.
This thing is worth its weight in gold IMO, open diff sucks.

I am not saying buy the OBX by any means though. A $1200 and a $400 part are not the same. If it breaks down I will be getting the Quaife. I just didn't have the $$$$ when I had my trans out for a new clutch. So far so good though. Hard cornering and WOT 2nd gear(straight) doesn't instantly spin the tires as much(open diff = not fun). I will be getting to the track and autoXing a lot starting in the spring so I will let you know how it holds up to that.
