Question

I need someones opinion on something. After I drive from my house to work (about 10 miles) I get out, and I hear a ticking noise. I only hear it after driving for a few miles, I'm assuming thats because it heats up. Does anyone have an idea of what this may be?

Kind of like a "pinging" noise coming from the bottom of the car? Its just the exhaust because its cooling.

my 2.2 did it.. you should hear the noises my 2.0 exhaust makes now... it's like it's hitting the heat shield or something.. or rubbing on the lower control arm. it's a really irritating noise.. only when i start off usually.. but that might have something to do with my exhaust being 3 inches.. so be glad that at least your noise is normal.
