question for guys with megan catback

I just got my catback in yesterday and installed and I have an exhaust leak at the flange between the s bend and the pipe with the muffler. I made sure the gasket is there and double checked the bolts but its still leaking.also where the pipe bends over the axle it hits where the hanger is welded to the frame.anybody else have these issues and Wats your best way to fix it?

I have the same issue with it hitting the hanger. No leaks on mine though. I'm gonna cut the crap out of the hanger today at some point. I also have an issue with the rubber popping off that same hanger. Gonna try a few things and I'll let you know the results

Awesome thanks. I was considering getting exhaust wrap like for headers and wrapping the piping but it was like 30 bucks for a roll. I'm sure there's a cheaper way to fix it

Just cut the hanger basically in half. Looks like i have more clearance but i'll have to wait til it rains to find out. What kind of gaskets are you using?

Same gaskets it came with.I'm waiting for it to cool down and then ill start on it.I found some wrap that has insulation that can handle high heat so I'm gonna wrap it thick and hope it works.if not I'm gonna try your way

I had onei got used, I endedup changing gaskets like three or four times, it always seemed to leak somewhere thought it just mine. It also hit in a few places just kinda loosened the bolts and kept moving it around till I found a good angle. Neverwent away fully tho, when ever it rained it seemed to make noise.
I just got tired of how loud it was and sold it

I think ill be changing the gaskets too.just found the leak coming around one of the bolts.and looks like I'm gonna have to get some expensive ass header wrap to wrap the piping to cure the banging.I was expecting the exhaust to be made a lil better than this

No change on the noise. Rained later on the same day I cut the hanger. Rattles like crazy. Seems to be hitting the coil spring more than anything else. I'd hate to get rid of the exhaust cause I really like it but I'm gonna shop around.
