Quick question! URGENT!
Alright so I am installing my ZZP SC kit on my 2005 2.2L base model sedan. I was removing my old intake stuff and was looking at the TB that was on their stock and it was 8 pin not a 6 pin. I thought the 2.2L were 6 pin and not 8 pin. What im wondering is though does anyone know if the LSJ will be a direct plug in with the current 8 pin connector or will I have to swap some wires around? Does anyone have any clue why I have an 8 pin TB connector with the stock 2.2L? If needed I can tell you the wire colors in my stock TB connector if needed.

"the kit comes with a LSJ TB and a TB extension harness(this pinout has not been tested yet) that needs to be soldered to your existing harness"
my guess is to find someones supercharged build thread (jn2) or someone with a well written write up and look at there diagram

Yes I know that but I was talking with a employee of ZZP and most users on here and the 2.2L is suppose to be a 6 pin TB and it can be converted to 8 pin to fit the LSJ but I cant use the diagram I was going to use because I have an 8 pin TB which I didn't think the 2.2L's had. Now I dont know which wires to swap unless I can find a 2.4 TB guide and see if the wires are the same.

The following wires need to be swapped:
Yellow <--> Brown
Tan <--> Dark Grey
Blue w/ Black Stripe <--> Tan w/ White Stripe
The green and purple wires remain untouched.
There are two tan wires, however if you look closely one has a white stripe its pretty difficult to see.

you have to swap wires around, if you have a small ice pick you can take them off the plastic clip and swap them around, or you coudl cut and soder, let me find my diagram for it
thats my diagram for it, hope you can read it...but thats how it should look like...also just incase you need help with this aswell..
thats how you hold the stock MAP into the manifold, i cut a small piece of hose and cut a small hole for the MAP nipple to go thru, that way the rubber acts like a gasket for the sensor and the top piece pushes it down and keep boost from blowing it out...
thats how the intake manifold gasket should be cut

ZZP in the kit already has the MAP bolted to the TOP of the SC and the gasket is already made to fit. Also I emailed ZZP and they told me if I have an 8 pin TB that it should connect directly to the one they sent with a connector and extension.

Sub'd for my SC project.
BTW the 6 pin/8 pin setup was dependent on the year, 05-6 had the same and 07-8 had the same if memory serves correct. Also I believe it was the 05-6 who were 8 pin... Feel free to correct if I am wrong.
