It's your fuel system with gasoline in it....gasoline is a highly combustable substance......A battery makes electricity......
We're not talking about refilling the windshield washer fluid here. A good mechanic could probably do this job 1,000 times and never have a fire, but a smart mechanic will never give it the chance of happening,
Don't say something like. " Cars are designed not to have fires like this." or whatever. If it's made by people, it can screw up, no matter how many safety features are installed.
Just ask any of the previous residents at Three Mile Island.

Yeah being a GM tech i've done quite a few of them so far. The part number under the campaign number is for a complete set of injectors. And yes it is very simple to do, the fuel rail is easily accessible and removeable. BTW Haynes manuals also tell you to disconnect the battery when installing wiper blades

You got played. I stood over and watched the tech do mine...we even bullshitted about my cold air intake and forced induction.
