Oh ok, I guess I didn't consider the lnf fitting better lol it makes sense though. Seems like a lot of work though. Would using the lnf header have any benefits other than aesthetic?

the intake runners on the lnf intake manifold are around 20% larger in diameter unfortunatly it is hard to make use of that without a port job on the cylinder head

Drilled and welded the bung for the wideband today

Sealed the welds with some ultra high temp exhaust sealer from versachem Nasty Stuff, if you ever use this stuff do not let it get on your skin It will burn the S#it out of you

And here is a wood pattern for the Flange the undrilled holes will be the studs for the LNF intake manifold. Now that we have verified we can proceed the way we planned, the Aluminum flange will be ordered next payday

Just out of curiosity...

Why not use aftermarket(or custom) parts instead of the stock stuff? Like Downpipe, Intake etc...

charge pipes, intercooler, and eventually the intake will all be treadstone the down pipe will stay cause I dont all the noise of a high flow or catless

Update Time
ok since Im going with the flange setup the flange is installed first

a test fit reveled that one of the nubs of the intake manifold was hiting one of the alt wires

so that nub went bye bye

so here it is instaled

oh just for referance both with and without the flange the intake manifold is in the way of the oil filter and the intake manifold will need to be removed to take the oil filter cap off and with this setup you can not use the Stock, LNF, LSJ dipstick. Im going to have to come up with a solution to that...

are the flange to head bolts level with the flange surface or do they poke some? it doesn't look like the manifold is sealing against the flange at those points

the flange to head bolts are not flush with the flange I had to mill out a bit of the top 3 bolt holes of the LNF intake manifold like so only the heads of the bolts extend about an 1/8th of an inch beyond the flange
Red is cylinder head
Green is flange
Blue is manifold
Yellow are bolts

I just looked at the pictures I posted and in the picture with the flange conected to the manifold the bolts are not screwed in all the way so thats why it looks messed up, tightened down they only come out about 1/8th of an inch
here is a picture of the bottom side of the top 3 manifold bolt holes ware I milled away to make up for that 1/8 inch of remaning flange to head bolt
