keeep in mind that when you do this the car has an emission sticker, i'm not sure but if they looked the vin up it would show you are suposed to have it. inspection MAY be a problem. and if they do catch and decided to prosecute (sp) the fine is $10,000 and/or some jail time. make sure you know the risk before you do it.

cause my car was previously registered in NY when i bought it used. so i want to make sure that when i get my inspection everything will be okay. i mean. if we're required to have it wouldn't the fine be dependant on whether or not we FAIL the test?
otherwise i'm gonna have to find one of those shady shops to do my inspections.

emissions is a federal standerd. if its on the car new it suposed to have it always...
really tho, if they hook up and there are nocodes, then i doubt they are gonna pop the hood and check everything in nj or pa, in calli or somewhere that has calli emmissions it wouldn't suprise me if they looked. whe i worked in pa i wasn't doing inspections but if i was and the computer says it passes who cares.

if it is tuned out properly it won't have any codes stored.as long as there are no codes stored i really doubt they are going to open your hood and look at the emissions sticker. but you never know, so just be aware what you could be getting your self into.
if my car had it i would probly get rid of it too...
