SC/TC catback exhaust

Hey looking at purchasing at sc or tc exhaust and just wondering if any of them could get gutted aka muffler delete

huh? you can do a muffler delete on anything that has a muffler...if thats wat youre askin

It's a straight through muffler already. At least the tc is.

well i want the sound of the tc deleted but people are saying it wont sound right so wondering if the sc is just better to put on with out delete or if the tc is better with out delete?

Unless your car is turbocharged, it won't sound like a tc. I have a video of the tc catback on my 2.4 if you want to see it.

Ya, the exhaust is not the only factor in how the car sounds, the engine is about 75% of it. If you have an 2.2, it will NOT sound like a tc, unless you turbo it. And even then, not quite. It'll still be different.

i got a ss/tc exhaust but i stuck a megan racing muffler on it. sounds pretty decent if you ask me. not too loud and not too quiet. actually i cant even hear it when im cruising but when i mash the gas it comes too life. i also gutted my cat

i dont think a gutted tc exhaust on a lt will sound good LOL

maybe with the megan muffler on it ill see how it goes, if i dont like it ill just get my dad to re weld

alright so its just best to stay with the tc exhaust and not to delete the muffler out

the tc exhaust does sound damn good, even with a stock muffler, just doesnt look right if you dont have the body kit or lip kit
