Short Throw Shifter

Are there any short throw shifters availible for the 08 LS w/out the reverse lockout? The only ones I have been able to find are for the models with the lock.

TWM makes one. Check it out. The Hurst one is only for the LSJ and maybe LNF. TWM is for us L61's and the LE5 as well.

i installed the cosmo short throw in my car and love it, it's really easy to take the reverse lock off, it's just a push pin and 2 screws, for the price it's one of my favortie mods. soo smooth that whenever someone asks me what mods i have I always leave it out, and i use it ALL the time when I drive, i paid under $100 shipped for the shifter plus a heavy knob. if you go to cosmoracing.com and search cobalt shifter, the one pictured is my car because i was the first 08 to have it installed. (i feel special)

All you have to do is cut off the peg inside the console, no more reverse lockout.

I superglued the peg that attaches to the assembly and pushes the shifter link. Its been working like that for 3 months. Its the litle peg that LOOKS like the peg you are supposed to replace. I still havent gone to the junkyard yet, I need to replace the assembly, hopefully ill find a ls sport so I can strip off the rims, side skirts, etc. fog lights.
