Ok..so was wondering??? I have a 2006 2.2 auto and I really like to get HP tuned...what would it take or can it be done to put a 07 pcm in to do this or would it be a waste of time..I'm sure a whole bunch would be a gaggled..but I just want to see..thx guys

Dont think its possible. Different types of ECMs and 07s have added sensors

and youre neither...its a legit question

Grand prixs of 06 and 07 years had to swap to 04 or 05 years to be tuned.

Ok gotcha..Damn well every other part you can swap out haha...I just wanted to see..iv got a friend with.HP tuner near me..does anyone know why they don't support the 05, 06 model..cause it was first out??

because the cobalt is the only platform that uses that ecu.Only reason HPT unlocked the E37A(07 up) is because multiple platforms use the same ECU.

At the time there wasnt enough support. When they found out there was enough support for it they did the latest ECM.

(this is how i think it went - thats why SS/SCs and 2.4s are covered but 2.2s are not)
