depends on the shop. Just call and ask, no hurt in asking. If you really want to get sneaky, find the specs on a nice ported and polished head from a race shop, take those specs to a machine shop and have them replicate. Will cost you half the price and be the same thing if the machine shop knows what they are doing.

alright and i was giving you my opinion.. how isnt it a consturctive one?.. i believe it is just a better idea to mod a car a manual so u can get the most gains from it. I believe with performance mods its hard to actually get the gains u expect with an auto IMO, but like u said if the auto fits u best then so it be but no need to call me a douchebag

Page 1, and look at what he has. The basics include stuff like Intake, Header, DP, Exhaust, Shiftplus, suspension, and **** like that. To shrink it down. Id say do an intake and exhaust as basic and if u can afford throw header on there too.

i'd say port n polish will b 300-400 bucks. i got a quote from a guy n he said 325. soooo. also, nitrous is good if u use it sparingly. don't just spray all over. save that for when ur internals can handle it ummm port n polish n cams is ur best bet for now for ur price range.

Alright and after the cams n port/polish i guess next is NAWZ.
Stock internals should hold a 75 shot fine with a step colder plugs and 93 octane I think... I'm just really on the fence, since its not HP all the time, and the risks are so great if its not done properly...

Not a Sebring
bc for what u spent on ur car, (the almighty 2.0 ss/sc) we can see another 200+ hp gain at the same amount of money.

I think that was an 06 Cobalt, the 07 they tested it on had negligeble torque losses at lower RPMs but a gain of 13 hp and 2 ft/lbs of torque past 4.5 grand.
Just realized yours is an 06, you should probably wait till the 2.2 tuning is ready to go before you buy the intake mani. I think the reason the 07s are doing better than previous years with the intake mani. is because of the new ECM and more aggressive factory tune.

Have you thought of handling mods? They are pretty cheap, and they really change the way the car feels. I highly recommend looking into getting the Progress Rear Sway Bar. I couldn't believe how much of an effect it had.
