Spare me the flame. 2.2 w/ 2.4 intake mani dyno

Aight guy's I've been here long enough so don't flame me here. lol

I have seen the dyno sheet of this 2.4 intake mani setup on an un-tuned 2.2, but I have yet to see one of a relatively stock cobalt w/ tuning.

Give it up folks.

i installed the 2.4 mani on mine about a week ago. low end decreases slightly, but the car pulls alot harder past 3500RPM. sounds alot better too.

I really need to get my car dyno'ed. I have the 2.4 mani and trifecta tune.
See vbgarage for complete list of mods.
I will be getting dyno'ed in the spring hopefully

well either the 2.4 IM or the 2.5 inch DP with a high flow cat....not sure which i should go with first.
either way i plan on getting a tune when spring time rolls around.

Yes you can, but you may not get the ame results. For 2008 the LE5(2.4) manifold was redesigned. 2008-2009 LE5s use ths new manifold, so does the 2009 LAP. So youve already got a 2.4 manifold, the question is whether or not the 1st design 2.4 manifold flows better than the second. Id be willing to wager a dollar it does, based on simply physical appearance, but I know of no testing to prove either way.

Agreed, I said this way back that we need to see if Trifecta corrects the low end power loss.

well i got the tune before i put my headers and 2.4 manifold on and clutch.
but it runs really great without a tune for the headers and manifold.
and my exhaust is custom piping all the way from the headers with 2.5 piping n high flow cat.

im actually waiting for steve to come to houston so i can get tuned by him and which will likely be a dyno tune. you can search the forum for another group tune in the houston area.

i got my headers at zzperformance.com n they were the 250 dollar one i think i know its teh most expensive ones

and with the springs i went wit aerospeed springs they don't make them anymore but they were a 2/2.5 inch drop.
